Vice President, Industry Issues: (1996- present).  Technical and public policy issues manager reporting to President, CEO.  Primary contact for customers on policy issues and sustainable development.  Leading member of two global industry association management teams.  Industry non-governmental organization representative to international environmental fora.  Ongoing involvement in US and international risk policy and Green Chemistry.

 

Chlorine Chemistry Council, Washington, DC: Acting Managing Director (2006); Loaned Executive (1994-96).  Temporary assignment from Occidental.  Issues management and policy for the chloralkali industry via largest US chemical industry trade association.

 

Director, Commercial Development, Polymers and Plastics: (1989-94). Reporting to Executive VP, created and operated recycling business for PVC packaging.  Developed business plan and design for proposed multi-plastics recycling facility.  Spokesperson on recycling, including Congressional testimony, for OxyChem and industry.

 

Director, Technology, PVC Resins and Compounds: (1985-89).  Led R&D and technical service of PVC resins, compounds and licensing.  Led on-site resin plant retrofit/startup team in Wuxi, China.  Managed industry fire, incineration research.
